CareerCoaching
CareerCoaching focuses on the individual – a person’s career path is like a fingerprint: no two are the same. With every career journey being unique, each individual requires personalised support, especially during a job search or for career development. CareerCoaching is valuable at any stage of a person's career. From entry-level employees to executives, as well as those considering a career change, seeking a promotion, or wanting more fulfilment in their work.

CareerCoaching – Personalised Career Support
Sometimes as we grow and evolve, we can outgrow our roles in life and this does not exclude our professional roles. Life changes, transitions and losses can disconnect us or re-direct us and we may find ourselves in a liminal place; feeling unfulfilled and unsure where to go. A re-direction doesn’t always show us the new direction. This is a great opportunity to work with a coach to help develop a new roadmap and navigate in a direction that’s values led.
My Approach to CareerCoaching
Our values are our compass in life and my approach to CareerCoaching is always rooted in our ‘why.’ Once we understand what motivates and drives us in life, we can start to identify a direction and align mindset and behaviours. We may need to look at additional training and/or opportunities to gain experience.
Achieve Your Career Goals
A client once said to me their dream job wasn’t possible for them and gave me a plethora of reasons why. Some of which were agreeably plausible, I asked this client ‘if your dream job WAS possible – what steps would you need to take towards it?’ The client looked puzzled, and I explained that perhaps we could view processes we do NOW as the groundwork for making it possible ONE DAY.
Together we addressed personal barriers around mindset and beliefs, identified opportunities to gain experience and relevant training. Our work was rooted in ‘now’ rather than putting all the attention on the outcome. We focused on prioritising what needed to happen now and viewing the process as the important element. This client emailed me approximately 9 months later from the company and in the role they thought was not possible a year previously. The client said that they have continued to use the strategies we worked on in the coaching. It has enabled them to achieve many personal goals alongside professional.
