Sound Healing

Ceremonial Sound Healing

What is Ceremonial Sound Healing?
Ceremonial sound healing is a practice that combines sound therapy with spiritual and energetic healing techniques. It involves using various musical instruments—such as gongs, singing bowls, drums, and tuning forks. The sounds create vibrations that promote relaxation, balance, and healing.

Where does it come from?
This practice has roots in ancient traditions, where sound was believed to have transformative power. Many cultures used sound in rituals, ceremonies, and healing practices to align the body, mind, and spirit. I integrate shamanic elements, energy work, and vocal toning to enhance the experience and allow for the body to communicate and express what is alive.

What does a Ceremonial Sound Healing Session involve?
We begin with a conversation to talk through the session and what it may look like. From this place we will set intentions and discuss your boundaries. The space is opened with a meditation and sound bath to bring us into the body and out of the mind chatter. There is the option to have Tibetan Sound Bowl Massage in the session where the bowl is placed on the body. The placements follow an intuitive sequence along the chakras and any additional places that are being called into the healing. The vibrational placements can support physical and emotional pain release and ease. During this part of the healing it may be that any relevant stories, traumas or injuries may come into your awareness and we can either talk it through during or after the treatment. The treatment will end with another sound bath to allow for some stillness after the massage. I will gradually bring you back into the room and we can have some time to talk through or process together.
